Description

We Got Her!!!

Sorry for the BG recycle, but I really didn't feel like drawing anything new :XD: And since they are both from the same auction, why not huh?

I'm extremely unhappy with the shading on her, but I like how the coloring came out! Guess I just can't have it all huh?

Done for *WickerWolfArt's Yearling Auction

Sire/Dam: Sired by Shawnee (bay sabino, sire of Coyote Killer) of the Golden Valley Herd of Montana, dam unknown most likely a strawberry roan named Princess
Bloodlines: Pure AQH from the Paige Stud Golden Valley Herd of Montana
Offspring: Ranch Horse/Reining
Other: Definitely her father’s daughter, and wild and fiery just like big brother Coyote Killer. A bad bitter and kicks like a mule too! Hate to see her go though she is a very pretty and unique filly. She may actually lighten with age until the sabino patterns on her body will no longer be visible and just the darker legs and head will remain.

Story:

After Jolene had finally managed to contain herself after the previous out burst of instant love over Hawk, she began flipping through the other pictures, and found a lovely little filly. Horses with lots of chrome always caught her eye, as did roans. When it was a roan with lots of chrome, Jo could hardly resist. Though she didn't fall head over heels for the flashy roan like she did Hawk, purely because it was a filly. She along with males, specially stallions, a lot better than mares, but this one had fire, which of course Jo liked.

Mare fire, is much different than stud fire though. Mare fire turned them into bitches, stud fire made them bigger and flashier. However, Jo had been pretty good at channeling mare fire into so pretty astounding feats. The flashy roan mare, nick named Callie, had lots of fire, which is exactly what Jo was looking for in her ranch horse lines.

The Hangin Tree dogs of Coyote Creek had attitude, and that's why they were such great working dogs. A filly with similar attitude would make a great working horse. And could there be anything more to cinch the deal? Yes there could, she was a sister to Jo's favorite outside stud at one of Jo's favorite outside farms. Yup, she's Coyote Killer's sister!
